Hello and Welcome to another episode of Sorry! You’re In My Seat, a weekly podcast which unites three best friends on a journey to discover the truly best that movies have to offer.
This week our heroes travel further than ever before as they tackle the huge juggernaut that is Studio Ghibli. Being strangers to this craft our heroes turn to former guest Clare who will guide our them through the wonderful world of anime.
Please remember our heroes are merely fans with a love of cinema, and not experts. This is their first reaction to Studio Ghiblii! Sam opens us up with the tale of Princess Mononoke, bringing you in with the perfect gateway drug to the Studio work. And Sam achieves this all the way from Centre Parcs in Nottinghamshire where he is held prisioner by the local wildlife.
James struggles with his identity, as he slowly realises he might be Totoro, a large hairy loveable creature, who sleeps too often and achieves very little.
Claire lets us gorge ourselves on the beauty and majesty that is Spirited Away. Listen as everyone fawns and gushes over this cinematic masterpiece.
Just when you can’t get enough Aaron guides us through the fantastic story of Sophie and her journey in Howl’s Moving Castle.
This podcast finally answers the questions all anime fans have demanded to know; Which actual cannibal voiced Absel? Dubbed or subtitled? Who has been cast as Joe Exotic?
If you have opinions on Studio Ghibli then let us know! Please share, and if you like the episode feel free to comment and leave a review. Stay Safe

Monday Mar 30, 2020
** A PODCAST FOR FILMS LOVERS **
Hello and welcome to episode 85 of Sorry! You're In My Seat - a podcast which unites three best friends on a quest to find the greatest movies of all time.
We live in the most unusual of times. A deadly virus is sweeping the globe and forcing people to stay indoors to slow the spread of the disease. At present, showing someone you care is NOT going to see them - I hope that wherever you are, you are safe, and that together we can get through this terrible time.
With this in mind our regular format has been interrupted. Sam, James and I are unable to meet to put together our usual 'lukewarm' / 'Slightly above average' / 'C+' podcast. Instead this week we have put together an episode of isolated recordings looking at what is available on streaming sites, including Disney+, which has just been released in the UK.
From Brave to Lady and the Tramp, to Tiger King and The Haunting of Hill House, join us for a more than usual eclectic episode.
We hope to resume normal broadcasting as soon as possible. Thank you for bearing with us.
Aaron, James, and Sam.

Monday Mar 23, 2020
Monday Mar 23, 2020
**A PODCAST FOR FILM LOVERS AND YOU HEROES SELF ISOLATING - KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK, STAY SAFE AND KEEP MORALE HIGH**
Hello and welcome to Sorry! You're In My Seat - a weekly podcast which unites three best friends on a quest to find the greatest films of all time! This week our heroes discuss Musicals with special guest Clare Brunton.
Film historians date 1927 as the birth of the musical film genre following the release of 'The Jazz Singer', the first film to sync music, singing and dancing in a full feature. Since then movie studios worldwide have capitalized on the magic and escapism of musical motion pictures - in this podcast, our heroes take a close look at some firm film favourites, battle over La La Land and have a rather heated discussion about The Greatest Showman.
Other films include Mary Poppins, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Les Miserables, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and Rent.
Also this week, James offends the French, Sam drops the C-word and Aaron has a thing for British Nannies. There's also two quizzes and plenty of film chat in between.
Please feel free to follow, like and share :)
Once again, thank you all for what you are doing to get us through this dark time - this ones for you.
Aaron, Sam, James and Clare
